GHANA CAN DEVELOP FASTER WITH EDUCATION—-COLLINS OWUSU AMANKWAH

The former Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Hon Collins Owusu Amankwah says Ghana can have a rapid economic turn around when it’s population becomes highly educated.

He noted that nations across the world that have turned their fortunes around have done that through education.

Speaking to the media after chairing the 2022 graduation ceremony of Excel Community School at Buokrom, Hon Amankwah said diligent investment in Ghana’s education system would yield tremendous dividends for the population.

“Just like the director of Excel Community School did and is reaping tremendous results, I believe Ghana’s socio-economic turnaround can best be achieved when conscious investments are done in education”, Hon Amankwah stated.

COMMENDATION:
Hon Amankwah commended the director and management of Excel College for continuously improving the environment of the school for academic work.

He noted that scientifically students do well when environment in which they conduct their studies are serene and conducive.

The former MP therefore encouraged parents to do what is expected of them to ensure the school continues to grow and churn out good students for the Manhyia North Community and Ghana at large.

“I just want to commend the school management especially the Director for the diligent work they have done and I urge parents as well as the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) to also commit to doing what is expected of them since education is a shared responsibility”, the former MP appealed.

DIRECTOR:
Mr Ernest Kwarteng, Directorate of Excel College addressing Chiefs, graduands, management and invited personalities as well as parents thanked the Former Manhyia North MP for encouraging him to set up the Excel Community School.

The initiative and success of the school have not come easy, the Director noted but added that the struggles was paying off for the benefit of the community.

He said from a humble beginning in September 2021 where 6 pupils were enrolled in the nursery and creche, the school could now boast of 155 pupils from nursery to Primary six (6).

“Excel Community School has everything comparable to the best in advanced countries and does the hybrid education from Ghana, USA and Britain models and there is plan to add JHS and SHS in future”, the Director stated.
