The Ashanti Regional Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako says the party was undaunted by the challenge the newly elected executive of the NDC presents.
Speaking to this reporter Monday morning, Mr Adomako said the NPP has a game plan which would stand the test of time every election and non-election year.
He noted that the NPP believes in being sincere with the Ghanaian people and it was upon this fact that the President openly stated that the country was in an economic crisis but was working to restore normalcy.
‘’The NPP is a focused party and has a track record of being sincere with the Ghanaian people on the challenges the economy was having but the same cannot be said about any group or executives the NDC puts together’’, Mr Adomako stated.
COMMITMENT:
Mr Adomako said the NPP was committed to doing everything possible to wriggle the economy out from the doldrums it went into recently.
He noted that the government has done a tremendous job by working to ensure the Ghanaian currency regains the strength it wielded previously against the country’s trading partners.
Mr Adomako said with the announcement of the reduction of lorry fares and the appeal by the President to traders and people who do business to reduce the rates at which they deal in commodities was ample testimony that the NPP means well for the people.
‘’Ours is to work with unbridled commitment to ensure the economy is in good shape since that would create job opportunities for the youth and bring excitement to the people’’, the regional organiser stated.
HARD WORK:
In a related statement, the regional organiser has charged the student wing of the party to be committed to working hard for the NPP.
Speaking at the three day conference organized by the youth wing, Mr Adomako said the NPP remains the choicest for the people of Ghana.
He encouraged them to work with passion and good conduct as they promote government programs, policies and initiatives across the country.
‘’The NPP has become strong and vibrant because of its intellectual and youth wings and I believe when we commit to work with the passion we have displayed at this conference the NDC will not be able to stop us from breaking the eight (8) year mandate jinx’’, Mr Adomako intimated.
