Don’t spill blood in election 2024 – Assembly Of God Pastor Admonishes

A special appeal has gone to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) not to spill blood of the lives of the electorates in-case this year’s 2024 presidential election favours one party than the other.

According to the Rev. Minister ,Ghana’s democractic dispensation has tested times of ruling NPP and NDC being in a political power, elaborating on it that “if today is NPP in power tomorrow is NDC”.
Speaking to this reporter at Sepaaae branch of Assemblies of God Church, Rev Lawrence Quasi Incoom was on the view that “Ghana First” pointing out that there is the need to cherish peace in this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections.
He believed that this year’s election is the easiest since both candidates are from the Northern part of the country.
He underscored the rate at which party machineries of NPP and NDC are creating tension attacking each other at campaign platforms seems to be Ghanaians not have witnessed crunch election in the country before.
He said since the establishment of 1992 constitution Ghanaians have tried to guard against civil war.
Rev Incoom stated that truly Ghanaians are witnessing shattered economy under president Nana Addo led Bawumia government but it shouldn’t be the gurantee to embrace electoral violence in this year’s election.
He advised the electorates to vote for a candidate of their choice in the December 7 and not to entertain a scenario of indulging into attacks, insults and violence bc at polling station centres “even if possible leave the place to your final destination to help promote peace in the December 7 general election.
Commenting on false prophets and prophecies in this year’s election, the man of God told it is too early to hear other prohets and pastors claiming the victory in the Dec.7 is for party A or B stressing on it that, it does not argur well for our infant democracy.
He revealed that to go deeper into the activities of those prophets are habouring hidden agenda to amass wealth at the expense of their congregation and the general public to believe that they are powerful “which is either here nor there” he added.
He finally told that election victory begins from polling stations not in the prophecies and churhes.
