The chairman of Friends of Bawumia (FoB-2008) Foundation,Alhaji Dr Mahamoud Hamid Assir-Deen,has underscored the need for all groups championing for the course of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to come together to pull strength and resources together for effective campaigning ahead of election 2024.
According to him,there are many groups supporting the Presidential ambition of Dr.Bawumia and to ensure effective collaboration among them,they decided to come together as one to pull strength and resources together to ensure victory.
The collaboration meeting was on the theme “FoB’08 working together for victory” was held at Royal Ann College of Health at Atwima-Manhyia in the Ashanti region.
He said FoB -2008 foundation was the first group to have been formed to support Dr Bawumia, when he came into active politics.
Dr.Bassir-Deen said the need for collaboration among various groups was very necessary for effective grassroots campaigning.
According to him,Dr.Mahamadu Bawumia had the trait of helping the less privileged, supporting several Organizations before he became Vice President.
His vision for the nation is great and looking at what he has done as the vice President tells it all.
The Founder and Chairman of FoB-2008, commended the great commitment and support of Mr. John Kwame Duodu aka Sir John,the first vice chairman of Atwima Nwabiagya South,who is also the Ashanti regional TESCON patron,FoB Deputy National Organizer.
The various groups for both Bawumia and his wife, Mrs.Samaria Bawumia, including Breaking the 8,DMB 2024, Bawumia ladies, Samaria ladies, Atwima youth for Bawumia, Rapid Response unit among others across the country,has now collaborated to be one force.
The executives of the various groups, pledged their unflinching support for the collaboration to help ensure effective grassroots campaigning for the victory of Dr. Bawumia.
On his part,the patron and chairman of funds raising committee of the group, Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah, warned Ghanaians, especially the youth not to allow themselves to be deceived by former President John Mahama and NDC.
According to him, Mahama and NDC leadership has nothing new to offer Ghanaians hence they’re beating war drums.
Lawyer Juanah alleged that Mr John Mahama was toxic and cool in heart and should be given the nod in an unlikely event will destroy the good foundation laid by President Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.
He said the best person, who knows best and has good policies and programmes for the development of Ghana is Dr Bawumia.
Additionally that the vision and policies outlined by Dr Bawumia is the best to ensure accelerated development of the country.He, therefore, called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr Bawumia,who is number one on the ballot come 7th December general election.
Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah, encouraged all the rank and file of NPP, especially FoB-2008 foundation Members as well as the collaboration groups to intensify their doo to door and Community to Community,do as the publicize the achievements of the government and good policies of Bawumia in stock for Ghanaians.
He cautioned them against complacency and focus on social media campaigns.”We need to get to the grassroots for effective campaign to let voters know our good works and good policies of Bawumia for Ghanaians
