Sekyere Kumawu DCE Urges Institutions to Embrace Feed Ghana Policy

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Kumawu,Mr. Kwasi Amankwah, has called on institutions in the district and beyond to participate in the government’s Feed Ghana Policy. This initiative aims to enhance food production and security in the country. Mr. Amankwah emphasized that the policy would benefit everyone, particularly young children in schools, and inspire them to pursue careers in agriculture.

The Feed Ghana Policy seeks to promote food production and security nationwide. By supporting vegetable farmers and other food crop producers, institutions can contribute to making the Sekyere Kumawu District a food hub. The district recently hosted Mr. Godwin Asubonteng, Feed Ghana Deputy Coordinator in charge of Institutional Farming. During his visit, Mr. Asubonteng inspected various farms and institutions, including Dadiese College and Tweneboah Kodua School. He commended the district for leveraging the Feed Ghana program and encouraged continued efforts.
