The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly on Thursday, September 4, 2025, held a crucial management meeting to deliberate on the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT), yet to be initiated development projects and received presentations from various departmental heads.
The meeting, chaired by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Abubakar Sedik, provided a platform for decision-making on projects the Assembly intends to execute across the district, assessing challenges, and strategising towards improving service delivery and development outcomes.
Each head of department presented updates on their respective sectors, highlighting achievements, constraints, and plans to enhance efficiency and accountability. The discussions also focused on preparations towards the DPAT assessment, emphasising the need for effective documentation, timely reporting, and collaboration among departments.
In his remarks, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Abubakar Sedik commended the heads for their dedication and urged them to put away personal differences and redouble their efforts in ensuring that projects are executed to benefit the people of the district. He further underscored the importance of teamwork, transparency, and innovation in driving the development agenda of the district.
The meeting reaffirmed management’s commitment to improving performance and delivering equitable development to communities within the Ahafo Ano South West District.
