On 31st March 2026, a delegation from the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), led by the Deputy CEO in charge of Finance and Administration, Mr. Musah Sibiri Hamidu, paid an official courtesy visit to Bunge Loders Croklaan (BLC), a shea nut processing company, to celebrate its 10th anniversary as a Free Zone Enterprise.
The GFZA team was warmly received by the General Manager, Mr. Santana Kumar Bhuyan; the Industrial Controller, Mr. Peter Omari Asiamah; the HR Business Partner (MEA), Mr. Zachariah Adomako; and the Quality and Food Safety Manager for West Africa, Ms. Nelly E. Kurd Marckay.
The visit formed part of GFZA’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional relationships and reaffirm collaboration with Free Zone enterprises. Discussions focused on industry development, sustainable practices and future investment prospects.
The company operates 24 hours a day and has undertaken several corporate social responsibility initiatives, including training and equipping rural women in shea processing, constructing boreholes, renovating classroom blocks and supporting youth in transforming waste plastic into fabric and school bags.
The engagement celebrated a decade of strong partnership, operational excellence and Bunge Loders Croklaan’s significant contributions to Ghana’s industrial growth.
The Deputy CEO was accompanied by the Director of Corporate Affairs, PR and Aftercare, Dr. Patience Agbleze Acorlor; the Director of the Tema Export Processing Zone (TEPZ), Mr. Adu Ntiamoah; the Senior Manager for Corporate Affairs, Mr. Bilal Muazu Sulemana; and members of the Aftercare Team.
