The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly, in collaboration with the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, is set to launch an Under-17 Inter-Community Football Competition tomorrow at Mankranso,the district’s capital.
The initiative aims to harness the power of sports to foster unity among communities, nurture young talent, and empower the youth in the district.
Hon. Abubakar Sedik, District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ahafo Ano South West , expressed his vision for the competition.
“My vision is to use sports as a tool to unite our communities, nurture young talent, and empower the youth of Ahafo Ano South West to become future champions and leaders,” he stated.
The Under-17 Inter-Community Football Competition is part of efforts to engage the youth in positive activities, promote community cohesion, and identify and develop young sporting talents in the district.
