The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has promised to construct the dilapidated road in Kotokro, Bekwai Municipality, and facilitate the installation of mobile network infrastructure in the community.
Dr. Amoakohene made this commitment during a durbar to hand over a rehabilitated school building facility, courtesy of Madam Amanda Okyere, a Presidential Aide.
After experiencing the challenges of the inaccessible road firsthand, Dr. Amoakohene assured the community that efforts would be made to make the road motorable, enhancing mobility and access for residents.
He emphasized that good roads and reliable mobile network coverage are crucial for attracting professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and teachers, to accept postings in the area.
Dr. Amoakohene reaffirmed the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) commitment to the development of the region and the Bekwai Municipality.
He urged residents to have faith in the NDC-led government, led by President John Mahama, assuring them that all promises made in 2024 would be fulfilled.
The Minister’s assurance has brought hope to the people of Kotokro, who are eager to see improvements in their living conditions.
The construction of the road and installation of mobile network infrastructure are expected to enhance the overall quality of life for residents and make the area more attractive to professionals.
