Council of State is a useless institution; we’ll not entertain it-Action Peoples Party declares

Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, founder and leader of Action Peoples Party has said that,his party will call for the abolishment of Council of State, indicating ,it is useless institution and an avenue to waste money.

According to him ,that institution hasn’t added any value to the governance of this Country since it was created.

Speaking on Atinka TV this morning,he revealed that APP is poised
to create educational fund to cushion students.

He was of the view that, giving allowances to students , being nurses,teacher trainees, among others is not the best because it doesn’t add any value to us as a developing Country.

He said the Country has been borrowing too much and it was about time we need to change that mentality because it doesn’t add any value to the economy.

Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah highlighted on three key areas where APP will be looking at when elected into office.

He spoke about the education sector where he said allowances to students would be abolished and giving to them as loans.

Agricultural sector;APP will create enabling environment where Ghanaians would be encouraged to grow their own products to feed themselves locally.

Transport; Another area he indicated was about transport where he said road safety and other areas would be scraped because their activities he deduced isn’t helping.

Office of the Special Prosecutor would be bridge with that of the CID for serious business to cramp down theft and other unwanted activities that do not help Ghana .
