The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Bantama , Hon Kwadwo Addai Dapaah has promised to institute a scholarship fund to support the youth in his area access tertiary education if elected as the Member of Parliament in election 2024.
He noted that many of the young people after free Senior High School (SHS) education could not continue to the tertiary level due to financial constraints.
The Scholarship Fund is therefore expected to support many needy but brilliant students to pursue higher education after SHS and contribute to nation-building.
He revealed that a soft loan centre would be set up to support market women and petty traders to have access to soft loans to expand their businesses and improve the local economy.
Hon Kwadwo Addai Dapaah made the promise when addressing Imams and party members at Adowato in the Bantama constituency during a tour of the constituency with the Ashanti Regional chairman (Nana Akwasi) and his campaign team today.
He again promised to construct a factory which will employ only Bantama constituents, this he said will ease the unemployment rate among the youth in the constituency.
