Mad. Joana Gyan, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central constituency in the Western Region, has supported the Amenfi Central District Football Association with GHc15,000 to organize the 2023/2024 colts league .
The Colts League is scheduled for April 15 to 21, 2024, at Wassa Nkakaa Town Park.
The gesture, according to the Member of Parliament hopeful, was to nurture and groom children who have passion for sports in the Constituency and help the Constituency come out with many skilled and talented children.
It is also to help identify children with talents and help mould their talents and secure their future.
Speaking to Mr. David Umiker Quarm , affectionately called ‘Boys Boys ‘, the Chairman of the District Football Association, lauded Madam Joana Gyan for her continued support towards the development of the FA ,Amenfiman and Western Region alongside Ghana as a whole.
He was grateful to Joana Gyan for the donation and said it will help the association in its programmes.
According to him, the FA, is focused and determined in ensuring that people who have sports at heart in the District realize their potentials.
He, however, entreated the entire school and communities to patronize the Colts league and cautioned patrons to adhere to rules and regulations governing the Colts League.
