Richard Ofori Agyeman, popularly known as King Zuba, has received overwhelming endorsement as the new Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
In a vote held at Miklin Hotel in Kumasi, 55 out of 56 assembly members voted in his favor, demonstrating a strong show of support for his leadership.

King Zuba’s nomination as Kumasi Mayor was initially announced by President John Dramani Mahama, citing his impressive track record as a former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Obuasi.
His loyalty to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and the Golden Stool has earned him widespread recognition and backing from the Manhyia Palace and various chiefs in the Ashanti Region ¹.
