Mr. Anim, who has been the MP for Kumawu since 2017 , urged the Muslim community to continue living in harmony with others, emphasizing the importance of unity and a shared destiny. He also pleaded with the Sekyere Kumawu Chief Imam, Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhasan, to help resolve a dispute between two factions at Oyoko, promoting peace in the town.

As part of his support for the Muslim community, Hon. Anim made generous donations, including:

– 30 bags of rice
– 10 boxes of cooking oil
– 5 boxes of mackerel
– 3 cartons of Milo
– A cash donation of GH¢10,000 to support the faithful during Ramadan

In response, the Sekyere Kumawu Chief Imam, Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhasan, advised Hon. Anim to prioritize leaving a lasting legacy, rather than seeking personal gain, as his tenure will eventually come to an end.
