As thousands of Ghanaians turned out in their numbers on Saturday, 19th October 2024, to support the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk in the Ashanti region, the ‘Ase3 ho'(The bottom/base) mantra became the ideal words that reverberated amidst the gleeful welcome to Hon. Alan John John Kwadwo Kyerematen on the principal streets of Kumasi.

The Independent Presidential candidate, Alan Kyerematen who secured the last position(13th) when the Electoral Commission of Ghana balloted for positions for all the qualified 13 political parties and independent candidates who are to appear on the 2024 ballot sheet, the leader for the Movement for Change(M4C), seems to have gotten a position that makes his campaign an easy-going one. He was seen on the streets of Kumasi leveraging on the same old euphoric slogan ‘Ase3 ho!’ with massive response from the masses as others have experienced in previous campaign seasons in the history of Ghana’s politics.

Besides, the mammoth crowd who were cladded in their Yellow Tshirts cheered up their leader as they took to the streets from the Kumasi Cultural(KCN) Centre to the Kumasi City Mall(KCM), which painted the picture of how Ghanaians are eager to bringing an end to the NPP/ NDC duopoly.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen explained that both NPP and NDC parties have had the opportunity to govern the country for the last 32 years and yet the woes of this country keep on escalating day by day. He expressed that both political parties have not provided any clear cut idea that will push our nation into a desirable status.

He therefore reiterated his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) to liberate Ghanaians from the current economic mess that has plunged the country into severe hardship. However, he is urging Ghanaians to do away with the NPP and NDC and bring the Movement for Change (M4C), with him as their leader.

He concluded by thanking the people of Ashanti region for their incredible support for making the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk a successful one ahead of the December Polls.

“Ashanti is home and victory is assured come December 7th, 2024. This election is not NPP or NDC , it for the Movement for Change. Vote for ‘Ase3 ho!”, he stated.
