The MP also made provision for food and undisclosed cash to be sent to the 31 mosques in the constituency.
The food items consisted of rice, sugar, cooking oil and sardines.
At a brief ceremony in her home in Asokwa, the MP said she was appreciative of the sacrifices of Muslims in Asokwa, adding fasting and praying was not easy tasks to be undertaken by any person for 30 days during Ramadan.
“I am donating these items to you, Muslim heads and the people in the 31 mosques in Asokwa so that you can end the 30 day fast in peace and enjoy some food at the ensuing EID”, the MP stated.

She noted that the gesture was to show gratitude to the leaders of the Muslim folk in Asokwa for what they do for the constituency.
She said the constant prayer and fasting by Muslims has ensured that Asokwa remained peaceful during her tenure.
Madam Appiagyei asked the youth of Asokwa, especially those who identified with the Muslim faith to be law abiding and responsible just like their leaders.
“I am very appreciative of the commitments of my Muslim heads who offer prayers for me and the people of Asokwa so we can enjoy peace in our constituency and I pray that the youth look to the attitude of these leaders and learn lesson from same”
