NPP Constituency members belonging to the camp of Hon Kennedy Agyepong, flagbearer aspirant ,have descended heavily on the Member of Parliament for Suame Constituency,Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu for storming their constituency to campaign for Dr Mahamodu Bawumia ahead of the November 4, Presidential elections.
Speaking at what they termed protest showdown walk organized today at the Constituency,Mr Godsbrain James Nantwi , Coordinator, indicated that,Kyei Mensah Bonsu is following Dr Mahamodu Bawumia because most of his constituency roads are asphalted .
Adding,the Suame Constituency has developed because Kyei Mensah Bonsu has a good relationship with the vice President but that of Kwabre East Constituency is lacking all the social amenities Suame has benefited from the same NPP government they all voted for.
He said,the only candidate who can help them in acquiring good roads, quality healthcare,jobs ,among others is Hon Kennedy Agyepong.
“Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo is ruling Ghana with Dr Mahamodu Bawumia so why should some constituency suffer in the Ashanti Region,the world bank of NPP .
Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo was bold enough to tell we the people of Kwabre East Constituency that he never begged for our votes and that we can choose not to vote for him going forward so why is Kyei Mensah Bonsu leading delegation to Kwabre East to campaign for Dr Mahamodu Bawumia since they have made us aware they don’t need our votes any longer?.
Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Dr Ayew Afriyie,MP for Sekyere East Constituency are all campaigning for Dr Mahamodu Bawumia because they have good roads and other equally important developmental projects.
What have we done wrong to the party we all vote for.
Kwabre East is the only constituency that gives NPP highest votes in any Presidential elections that has been organized since 1992,so why must we suffer?
We the people of Kwabre East Constituency have come to the conclusion that only Hon Kennedy Agyepong can rescue us from the wicked administration of Dr Bawumia and Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo”He further indicated.
For his part,Mr Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agyakoo lambasted some Constituency party chairmen for taken money from the vice President.
According to him,those chairmen do not serve the interest of NPP as a political party but think of their selfish interested.
He deduced, those stomach directed chairmen earlier gave fake information that their walk today was cancelled but for the will of God it has come to pass.
He then entreated members not to be intimidated by the words of those corrupt constituency Chairmen but vote for Hon Kennedy Agyepong for a better future.
He revealed, Ghanaians are waiting for the NPP to elect Kennedy Agyepong as the flagbearer for the 2024 elections so the fortunes of the NPP in 2024 elections would be decided on November 4 Presidential elections, so the party shouldn’t make mistake to vote against Kennedy Agyepong.
“A vote against Kennedy Agyepong on November 4 is a suicidal for NPP in election 2024.”He maintained
