Pastor Kwaku Obeng, also known as Apostle John, of Spoken Word Evangelism in Kumasi, has made a bold claim that God has chosen Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng to be the next President of Ghana.
According to Pastor Obeng, this revelation was made known to him through a vision, in which he saw Mr. Kyeremanteng emerging victorious in the 2028 General election as an Independent Candidate.

Pastor Obeng disclosed that Mr. Kyeremanteng will run with Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu as his running mate, and together, they will lead Ghana for eight years. He described Mr. Kyeremanteng as a hybrid of “a politician and a technocrat,” who has been chosen by God to curtail the high unemployment rate among the youth. According to Pastor Obeng, Mr. Kyeremanteng plans to achieve this by investing in NVTI and other technical institutions, as well as establishing industries.

Pastor Obeng also made some additional claims about the future of Ghanaian politics. He stated that President John Dramani Mahama won the 2024 General election due to God’s intervention, and that the President has a mandate to prosecute individuals who mismanaged public funds.
However, he also claimed that President Mahama will be the last person to ascend to the presidential seat on the ticket of a political party, and that the NPP will eventually align with Mr. Kyeremanteng as an Independent Candidate to win power.
