The front of the immediate past MMDCEs is experiencing some heat as some of them are agitating for the early payment of their end of service benefits which was paid to all government appointees since 2021 leaving the immediate past MMDCEs.
This agitation is causing a stir in their camp as some of them have resolved to picket in the premises of the Jubilee House enclave.
The leadership of the MMDCEs is leaving no stone unturned to convince their colleagues to back down on their action.
The leadership informed them that they are in talks with the government to resolve the issue and therefore it is premature to embark on picketing.
But for some time now the NPP government led by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has still failed to pay them their end of service benefits due them.
The forgoing character is making life very uncomfortable for the affected former appointees who worked assiduously for the betterment of Nana Addo’s first term in office.
