Stephen Kwaku Saahene,2020 Parliamentary Candidate for Bantama constituency in the Ashanti region on the ticket of the United Progressive Party has called on President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo to as a matter of urgency sack Mr.Albert Kan Dapaah as the minister in charge of National Security.
Kwaku Saahene is of the view that Ghanaians have seen nothing good under the leadership of Mr.Kan Dapaah as the national security boss.
According to him,if James Oppong Boanuh has been removed from office as the IGP then it is the turn of the National Security Minister to also be sacked because they work hand in hand.
Saahene opined that , he openly criticized the work of the IGP especially when teenagers were killing people for spiritual money and other issues of brutalities meted out to some journalists in the country for criticizing the government and among others so if indeed the President of the day has been able to remove the IGP from office without extension of his contract then Kan Dapaah too deserve the same sanction.
He said,Mr.Kan Dapaah has been worse ever minister Ghana has ever had.
Saahene, however commended the president for taken Swift response from his plea by calling on the president to sack Oppong Boanuh for abysmal performance as the head of the Ghana Police Service.
“There are alot of things happening under the watch of Kan Dapaah which is not helping as a serious Nation that’s why I’m calling on his removal”.He ended.
