Social commentator Henry Mary Ussher has slammed the NDC government for leaving out the Bawdie to Asankrangwa road from a list of 32 roads slated for rehabilitation.
In a Facebook Live video, Ussher questioned why communities like Wassa Amenfi, Bawdie, and Asankrangwa were excluded, asking, “What crime have the people of Wassa Amenfi committed to deserve this neglect?”
Ussher expressed disappointment, noting that Wassaman has historically supported the NDC over the NPP, making the omission feel like a betrayal to loyal voters.
In response, Amenfi Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Joana Cudjoe has pledged to personally ensure the construction of the Bawdie to Asankrangwa road.
Following Ussher’s viral video, Hon. Cudjoe assured constituents that efforts are underway to develop the road and ease transportation challenges in the area .
