A disturbing trend has emerged in the Sekyere Afram plains District of the Ghana Education Service, where 55 teachers have been left in a state of uncertainty and financial hardship.

These educators, who have dedicated their lives to shaping the minds of future generations, have been affected by a change in management unit, resulting in their names being deleted from the payroll system.

Since September 2024, these 55 teachers have not received their salaries, leaving them struggling to make ends meet. The situation has been exacerbated by the fact that their names have been blacklisted, making it impossible for them to access their rightful earnings.

The affected teachers, who have been serving in various schools across the district, are understandably frustrated and demoralized by the situation. Many have expressed concerns about how they will provide for their families, pay their bills, and meet their basic needs.

The Ghana Education Service has a responsibility to ensure that its employees are treated fairly and with dignity. The failure to pay these 55 teachers their salaries for months on end is a clear breach of this responsibility.

We call on the relevant authorities to take immediate action to address this situation. The names of the affected teachers must be restored to the payroll system, and they must receive their outstanding salaries without delay.

Furthermore, we demand that the Ghana Education Service takes steps to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. This includes ensuring that all employees are treated with fairness and respect, and that their rights are protected.

The education sector is the backbone of any society, and it is imperative that we prioritize the welfare of our educators. We owe it to ourselves, our children, and our nation to ensure that our teachers are valued, respected, and compensated fairly for their hard work and dedication.

The above article seems to ;

DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THE 55 AFFECTED TEACHERS!

RESTORE THEIR NAMES TO THE PAYROLL SYSTEM NOW!
AND

PAY THEM THEIR OUTSTANDING SALARIES WITHOUT DELAY!
