Immediate past MMDCEs under President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo has informed the Ghana Police of their painstaking decision to picket at the Jubilee House at the of the month,May.

Their decision to picket is informed by the government’s refusal to pay their salary differentials and other essential benefits due them over the years they served as the appointees of the government.

According to them ,other appointees were paid since 2021.

Their decision according to them is not to ridicule their government, but rather to draw the attention of the government to the long standing issue which should have been resolved with the payment of their end of service benefits.

It is for this reason that they humbly ask for their protection to take their concerns to the government at the Jubilee House.

“We hope you will give a favourable consideration to our request to bolster our credentials as a democratic country where the citizens freely express their views through legal and constitutional means. This will also underscore our image as a party that prides itself in upholding the tenets and principles of the Rule of Law.”It concluded.

Our best regards,
Fmr MMDCEs
