About one hundred and twenty-six communities under Amenfi Central Constituency in the Western Region have given the electoral Commission one week ultimatum to resend it decision for the purported disqualification of the NDC parliamentary candidate for the area, Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe.
According to them, the EC wouldn’t have it easy with them when they try to furnish the constituency with electoral materials on election day without the image of Joana Gyan Cudjoe on the ballot.
Marching for a peaceful protest at Kwakuboah amidst health screening, the charged crowd were disappointed about the decision of the EC for wrongfully disqualification of their candidate.
According to them, the move by the EC is dubious and politically motivated by the independent candidate for the area ,Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah alongside the NPP and there’s no way they will accept it.
They however called on the peace council to intervene else there will be chaos.
