Digitalization is meaningless without access to Electricity and Internet Service- Ashanti Chief

Nana Kwame Abebreseh Adwodwo, Chief of Anetemfe in the Ahafo Ano South West District of Ashanti region has stated that Digitalization without access to basic amenities like the expansion of electricity, telecommunication Networks Internet service and good roads to the various communities is of no use.

According to him, at this technological age about 48 communities in the district are without access to Electricity, function telecommunication Networks, internet and good roads which needs urgent attention to improve their lives.

He stated that they have no electricity, telecommunication Networks and Internet, he argued that a community without internet service how could a student even check their results after school.
He lamented that politicians always visit them during elections period and neglect them after the elections by previous governments and that did not added to the national grid, can not boast of tarred roads, internet service which makes life difficult for them.
Nana Abebreseh expressed the grievances to Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aka General Mosquito, the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) at one of his Ashanti Regional Retail Campaign schedule to familiarized to have firsthand information about the pressing challenges facing the electorates at the grassroots levels.
Mr Asiedu Nketiah also urged them to vote massively for the NDC in the upcoming general elections to fixed their problems.
He promised them that voting for the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and the Parliamentary Candidate Abubakar Sadik is a vote for the expansion of rural electrification, tarring of their roads through Cocoa roads projects and access to telecommunication Networks and Internet Service and continue the Free fertilizers and seedlings programmes to improve their socioeconomic development to enhance their standard of living.
