The running mate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 presidential election, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has stated that the NDC will abandon projects started by President Akufo-Addo and for that reason should not be voted for in the upcoming elections.
Reflecting on the galaxy of policies and projects rolled out by the Nana Addo Dankwa-led government, he has asserted that it is essential Ghanaians vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 flagbearer of the NPP to continue with the good works of Akufo-Addo.
“If Bawumia and NPP are not voted for, the NDC will abandon projects started by President Akufo-Addo”.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh a.k.a “Napo” made the above asserting in a meeting with artisans of Suame magazine on Thursday at the Suame Methodist Church.
The NPP vice presidential candidate hopeful strongly defended that, Dr. Bawumia’s digital interventions have made life far better and that Ghanaians no more stress themselves in areas like monetary transaction, trade, payment of bills, transport etc.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said at the meeting that in the wake of technological age, Ghana needs Bawumia for the Presidency to align the country with the digital era.
“We don’t need somebody who will drag out country backward.”
Dr. Napo described Bawumia as somebody who is innovative and has a digital mindset.
He therefore urged them to vote massively for Bawumia and NPP in the upcoming general elections.
