The Police added that all suspects will face legal action and be brought before the courts.

These arrests are part of the security measures implemented by the Police to maintain peace, security, law, and order post-election.

While the incidents of looting, vandalism, and property damage have been limited, authorities remain vigilant.

The Police have issued a strong warning to the public, urging individuals to refrain from violent acts, as perpetrators will be arrested and prosecuted according to the law.

Some of the key security measures currently in place include:

Increased visibility through patrols conducted with other security agencies.
Intelligence-led operations within communities to identify and apprehend offenders.
Static security at targeted state facilities.
Engagement with government officials and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
A special investigation team reviewing videos and other evidence to identify perpetrators and hold them accountable.
The Police also expressed their gratitude to Ghanaians for their support throughout the election process, encouraging all stakeholders to remain calm.

They assured the public of continued safety, security, and the protection of property.
