Dr. Frank Amoakohene Takes Charge: Punctuality and Attendance Now Mandatory at Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has taken a firm stance on punctuality and attendance at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council. In a bid to revamp the council’s work ethic, Dr. Amoakohene has made it clear that tardiness and absenteeism will no longer be tolerated.

As the head of the council, Dr. Amoakohene aims to instill a culture of discipline and accountability among its members.

This move is expected to boost productivity and efficiency in the council’s decision-making processes.

The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council plays a vital role in implementing policies and programs that impact the region’s development.

With Dr. Amoakohene at the helm, the council is poised to tackle pressing issues such as urban transportation, security,unemployment and economic empowerment .

Dr. Amoakohene’s leadership style is not new to the region. As the former Ashanti Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), he contributed his quota to the development of the NDC which gave the party a resounding victory in election 2024.

With his no-nonsense approach, Dr. Amoakohene is set to make a positive impact on the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council. As he settles into his new role, the region can expect a renewed focus on development and progress.

Inspecting the time book at the reception of the Coordinating Council this morning, he told the secretaries that his decision is to encourage staff to arrive early for work and for the benefit of the coordinating council but not to harass anyone.

He however appreciated staff enthusiasm for the council’s success but advised late comers to have positive mindset towards work.

Staff are to start work at 8:00am and close at 5:00PM.
