In a heartfelt gesture, Hon. Migyimah personally visited the homes of elderly residents, many of whom are immobile due to age, to deliver essential items such as rice, cooking oil, and other necessities. This kind act aimed to brighten their day, bring smiles to their faces, and ensure they felt valued, particularly during this festive period.

During his visit, Hon. Migyimah addressed the harmful stereotyping of the elderly, urging the public to refrain from labeling older individuals as witches. He reminded the community that old age is a blessing from God and should be seen as a testament to divine grace and favor.

Instead of stigmatizing the elderly, Hon. Migyimah emphasized that society should honor and care for them, recognizing the wisdom and life experiences they offer. He also stressed the importance of intergenerational dialogue, encouraging younger members to engage with their elders and learn from their wealth of knowledge.

By fostering these connections, Hon. Migyimah believes that stronger family bonds will be built, contributing to the community’s overall well-being. Through his actions, Hon. Migyimah is working to create a more compassionate and inclusive society where the contributions of the elderly are acknowledged and celebrated.
