Hon. Muntaka Mubarak, the Minister for the Interior, has praised Isaac Kofi Egyir, the outgoing Director-General of the Ghana Prisons Service, for his transformative leadership.

During a pull-out ceremony at the Prisons Officers Training School in Accra, Minister Mubarak commended Egyir’s dedication to prison reform and his contributions to Ghana’s security and justice system .

As Interior Minister, Hon. Muntaka Mubarak has emphasized the importance of non-custodial sentences to decongest the country’s prisons. His vision includes :
