The District Chief Executive for Sekyere Kumawu District, Hon. Kwasi Amankwa, embarked on a Thank You Tour to express his gratitude to the chiefs, elders, and people of Kumawu for their support.

Accompanied by key stakeholders, including the District Coordinating Director, Emmanuel Appia-Kubi, heads of department, security officers, the ambulance service, Constituency Chairman Mr. Hamidu Issaka, Presiding Member Richard Gyamfi, and some NDC members, the tour aimed to foster stronger community relationships.

During the thank you tour, the DCE and his team engaged with chiefs and community leaders, listening to their concerns and challenges.

The communities highlighted pressing issues, including poor road infrastructure, inadequate school facilities, water and electricity shortages, and limited healthcare services. Hon. Kwasi Amankwa assured the communities that the district assembly would work to address these challenges.

The DCE also announced the upcoming launch of President John Mahama’s “Feed Ghana” initiative in Kumawu, designed to empower farmers and boost agricultural productivity. He emphasized the president’s commitment to completing stalled projects, citing the Kumawu road as a priority.

Baffour Atta Tweneboah, the Kumawu Bodomasehene, urged the DCE to collaborate with the Member of Parliament, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, to drive development in the district.

Hon. Kwasi Amankwa encouraged the youth to remain hopeful, assuring them of his dedication to improving their lives.
