Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council Issues Guidelines for Funeral and Burial of Late Asantehemaa

The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC), led by Dr.Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Ashanti Regional Minister in line with directives from the Manhyia Palace, has announced specific guidelines related to the funeral and burial arrangements of the late Asantehemaa.

These guidelines are aimed at ensuring a smooth and dignified observance of the funeral proceedings.

Key Guidelines Announced by ARCC
– Identification and Uniforms: Essential government workers are required to wear official service uniforms and carry valid identification cards.
– Use of Official Vehicles: Essential government workers are advised to commute using official government vehicles as much as practicable.
– Compliance with Movement Restrictions: Exempted institutions and essential workers must cooperate fully with security and regulatory agencies enforcing movement restrictions.

The ARCC expressed appreciation for the cooperation of all stakeholders in ensuring the dignified observance of the late Asantehemaa’s funeral and burial arrangements.
