NEIP Launches Adwumawura Programme to Support Youth Entrepreneurship and Foster Economic Resilience

The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has launched the Adwumawura Programme, a comprehensive initiative designed to support youth entrepreneurship and foster an innovation-driven, resilient economy in Ghana.

The programme aims to create a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem that nurtures innovation, facilitates access to funding, provides mentorship, and ensures market integration.

Speaking at the launch of the programme yesterday,Mr Eric Adjei, CEO of NEIP made it clear that the programme provides comprehensive entrepreneurship training for beneficiaries, covering topics such as business planning, financial literacy, marketing and branding, digital skills, operational management, and sustainable business practices.

According to him,the programme facilitates access to funding for beneficiaries, enabling them to scale their businesses and create jobs.

The programme provides mentorship and incubation support to beneficiaries, helping them to develop their business ideas and overcome challenges.

The programme ensures market integration for beneficiaries, enabling them to access new markets and increase their revenue.

He revealed that,the selection of beneficiaries for the programme was conducted through a rigorous, transparent process overseen by a Selection Committee drawn from various stakeholders.

The criteria for selecting beneficiaries included job creation potential, social impact, innovation, scalability, sustainability, proposal quality, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
