The former vice president and presidential aspirant for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to begin a three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region from Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The tour would enable him to meet the party delegates and interact with them to consider him ahead of the NPP presidential primaries on January 30th.
Dr. Bawumia would also meet with regional party executives and constituency executives as part of his three-day campaign tour
This, according to the Western North Regional Communications Officer Addo Yaw Harry, this forms part of his nationwide engagement with party delegates.
Dr. Bawumia is expected to interact with delegates across all nine (9) constituencies of the Western North Region.
The tour aims to further deepen his connection with the grassroots and share his vision for the continued transformation of our great party and nation.
The campaign tour will afford him the opportunity to visit Sefwi Akontombra Constituency,Aowin Constituency, Juaboso Constituency, Bia West, and Bia East Constituencies
The rest are Bodi Constituency,
Sefwi Wiawso Constituency and ends at
Bibiani–Anhwiaso–Bekwai Constituency.
The Western North Regional campaign team hereby calls on all NPP delegates to turn out massively at the respective venues to welcome and interact with our distinguished presidential aspirant as we walk together to secure victory in 2028.

He was optimistic that together, they could secure the future with the most prepared, most credible, and most winnable candidate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
