On 14th April 2026, a team from the Corporate Affairs, PR & Aftercare Department of the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) joined Servair Ghana, a catering company and member of the Gategroup, to celebrate its 15th Anniversary as a Free Zones Enterprise.
The team, led by the Director of the Department, Dr. Patience Agbleze Acorlor, paid a courtesy visit on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mary Awusi, to commemorate this significant milestone and to engage the company on its operational progress and any challenges it may be facing.
The team was warmly received by Mr. Olivier Briot, Managing Director, and his management team, who expressed sincere appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Authority in facilitating their operations and growth. He further indicated that the company plans to expand its operations into the offshore oil sector. Currently, Servair Ghana employs 157 staff and operates on a 24-hour basis.
The Director of Corporate Affairs underscored the Authority’s strong appreciation for the company’s substantial contribution to Ghana’s economic development—particularly in the areas of job creation directly and indirectly in the ago sector through sourcing foodstuffs for their meals locally; export earnings; and its role in strengthening the aviation and tourism sectors.
Over the past 15 years, Servair Ghana has demonstrated resilience, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to delivering world-class catering services within the aviation industry.
The Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting enterprises operating under the Free Zones scheme to grow, scale, and enhance Ghana’s industrial development and global competitiveness.
The Director was accompanied by the Senior Manager, Mr. Bilal Muazu Sulemana; Manager, Mrs. Elike Adjei and other officers of the Department.
