A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Samuel Kofi Abiaw, popularly known as Chief Akproka, has officially launched his campaign to become the next Regional Secretary of the party, promising a new era of accountability, efficiency, and result-oriented administration.
Mr. Abiaw, who is contesting under the slogan “ACTIVE TODAY, STABLE TOMORROW,” said his vision is to build a stronger regional party structure through proactive leadership, effective coordination, and transparent management of party affairs.
Addressing party faithful and delegates ahead of the internal elections, Chief Akproka assured members that his leadership would be measured by concrete achievements rather than promises, stressing that every action taken under his administration would be visible to the party’s grassroots.
“My works will be visible—no excuses,” he declared, outlining his commitment to ensuring that the regional secretariat becomes more responsive, organised, and effective in supporting the party’s activities.
According to him, the role of a Regional Secretary requires someone who understands party structures, values teamwork, and can provide the necessary administrative support to help the party achieve its objectives.
Focus On Accountability And Results.
Chief Akproka emphasised that his campaign is built around accountability and practical solutions to challenges confronting party administration.
He noted that a vibrant regional secretariat must have proper documentation, efficient communication systems, and strong collaboration with constituency executives and other stakeholders.
The aspiring Regional Secretary said his goal is to introduce a leadership style that prioritises action, discipline, and stability, ensuring that party structures at all levels receive the attention and support they deserve.
Number 1 On The Ballot.
In the upcoming election, Samuel Kofi Abiaw will appear as Number 1 on the ballot paper, a position his supporters believe symbolises a fresh beginning and a clear choice for delegates.
A campaign poster captured by The Punch newspaper urged delegates to vote for Chief Akproka as the candidate capable of bringing renewed energy and efficiency to the regional secretariat.
Call For Delegate Support.
Supporters of Chief Akproka have described him as a committed party man with the experience and determination needed to strengthen the administrative backbone of the NPP in the region.
They believe his campaign message of “Active Today, Stable Tomorrow” reflects the need for a Regional Secretary who will not only manage party records and communication but also actively contribute to building a united and formidable party structure.
As the regional elections draw closer, attention is expected to intensify among delegates as candidates outline their visions and strategies for taking the party forward.
For Chief Akproka, the message remains clear — a promise of active leadership today to secure a stable and stronger NPP tomorrow.
