A group of youth within the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Asawase Constituency of the Ashanti region has called on the affected reshuffle minority leaders to accept the party decision to replace them with other equally party members .
Harris Umar, the leader of the youth at a press conference today was of the view that, the collective decision of the party must be supreme than any individual.
According to him, they in the constituency feel honoured that the party leadership gave them one of the leaders in parliament and for that matter must be commended.
He stated that, the reshuffle was a decision from the National Executives who the party voted for the common goal of the party to win the 2024 election and for that matter their decision must be respected.
He stated that, it’s the vision of the party that, they recapture political power in the coming general elections, and if the leaders thought it wise that, there are certain crop of people needed at a particular time to realize the ultimate dream of making the victory mere formality and need to be respected and accepted at all levels.
He disclosed that change is constant in our lives and sometimes one has to sacrifice what you have for what you want, which he said the affected should sacrifice their own selfish interest for the party.
