Amenfi Central DCE Orders Mining Concession Owners to Submit Licenses

The District Chief Executive for Amenfi Central, Hon. Peter Amponsah, has issued a directive to all small-scale and large-scale mining concession owners in the district to submit their mining concession licenses to his office for verification and validation purposes.

 

Submission Details:

 

– Submission period: Wednesday, 2nd July 2025, to Wednesday, 9th July 2025

– Licenses to be submitted:

– Small-scale mining concessions licenses

– Large-scale mining concessions licenses

– Prospective licenses

– Concession owners must indicate whether the concession is currently being used for mining or not

 

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

 

Failure to submit mining concession licenses within the specified timeframe will result in the concession being deemed invalid and without legal standing in Amenfi Central. Compliance is mandatory, and concession owners are advised to treat this notice with immediate effect to avoid any consequences.
