The municipal Chief executive of Wassa Amenfi East municipal assembly Hon Frederick Korankye has been drawn to politically-jaundiced allegations made by the Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu that the small scale mining license obtained by Kofreze Construction and Engineering Service Ltd., was a dash by the NPP government to finance NPP campaign activities in the 2024 general election.

I initially thought to let this slide away because Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa has on countless occassions made unsubstantiated allegations against many high flying individuals without any proof but for the sanity of my integrity, I need to set the records.

Kofreze Limited which was our first company started operating in 2015 before giving birth to the construction and haulage companies in 2017, when I decided to quit working for foreign investors in the mining sector
Our activities cut across food and beverage production, fuel station operation, construction, haulage and transport service, consultancy service, mining and mining services, washing bay and lube services and general merchandise.
The Managing Directors of Kofreze Group posses expertize in Project Management, Development Studies, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mine and Mining Services, I.T and other fields to facilitate and give experts advice for the management of our businesses.

Before my appointment as Municipal Chief Executive of Amenfi East in April 2021, had over 20 years experience in mining and mining related activities. Before my resignation as Process and Maintenance training coordinator for Perseus Mines Ghana Limited in 2016, i had work with many mining companies in Ghana, South Africa, Eritrea, Gambia, Mozambique, Burkina Faso.and many more
I wish to emphasize that, when I was employed as MCE, I have filed my asset declaration and that includes Kofreze group of companies and wish to state that, there is nothing wrong with an MCE doing business aside my political career

I also wish to state that our business has no political affiliations or support nor any conflict of Business and the mining license was obtained through merit, meeting all necessary requirements. We also want to emphasize that the concession is neither in the forest nor close to any water body and currently under development stage.

I am calling out Hon. Ablakwa to provide evidence for his claims within 48 hours or issue an apology whiles I continue to engage my legal team for further
