The Member of Parliament for Juabeng constituency in the Ashanti region,Hon.Ama Pomaa Boateng on last Monday, cut the sod for the construction of Kubease-Juabeng through to Odoefe roads which had been in deplorable state for some time now.
The project is expected to be completed within a year, the outspoken lawmaker disclosed during the sod cutting ceremony at Kubease.
According to the MP, the construction is part of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s campaign promise to the people of his constituency after he had briefed the President on the condition of the road which has been neglected for years.
“Let me thank the President for this. Indeed he is a listening President and ready to fulfill all his campaign promises,” he said during the sod cutting ceremony .
“Roads make a crucial contribution to economic development, growth and bring important social benefits. In order to make a nation grow and develop, roads are of vital status. For these reasons, road infrastructure is one of the most important of all public assets,” he said.
She reiterated his commitment to serving the people of Juabeng constituency who gave her the mandate to serve them as Member of Parliament and promised that her constituency will vote massively for President Nana Addo in the 2020 elections.
