Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister , has commended Hon. Sadat Anwel, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Oforikrom, for the commendable work done in fixing streetlights and traffic lights within the Oforikrom Municipality.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Amoakohene expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the streetlight project during a drive through Anloga Junction to Aprade Junction. While noting that a few installations, including the Poku Transport Traffic Light and the stretch between Tech Police Station and Tech Main Gate, are yet to be completed, he described the overall progress as “highly satisfactory.”
Dr. Amoakohene extended his commendation to Hon. Sadat Anwel and all other Municipal and District Chief Executives working to improve the region’s infrastructure. “Your efforts are deeply appreciated and will be duly acknowledged in due course,” he stated.
The streetlight project is part of efforts to enhance urban development and safety in the Oforikrom Municipality. Dr. Amoakohene’s commendation highlights the importance of effective municipal leadership in driving development initiatives.
