Yesterday, 25TH NOVEMBER, 2021, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah, was at New Edubiase (Adansi South District) and the Obuase Municipal Assemblies to commission government projects.
At Obonsu in the Adansi South District, a 1 No.6 Unit classroom block with Toilet facility was commissioned for the community. It was initiated and completed by the DCE, Francis Ankomah and then MP, George Boahen Oduro.
The Minister, later paid a courtesy call on the odikro of Apagya also in the District and then commissioned a newly built Community Durbar grounds.
At New Edubiase, Mr.Osei-Mensah and his entourage called on the Omanhene of New Edubiase, where they discussed matters of national development. A newly built office accommodation for National Health Insurance Scheme in the district was also handed over by the Regional Minister to the DCE.
Mr.Osei-Mensah ended his day’s working visit to Obuasi Municipal where he joined Management of Anglogold Ashanti, for the official opening of the Obuasi Enterprise and Skills Development Centre. The Centre will facilitate the learning and skills development of the people of the area.
