Ashanti Regional Minister Praises Students at Music Fiesta, Warns Against Unruly Behavior

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has commended students for their vibrant display of talent and creativity at the Ashanti High Schools’ Music Fiesta held at the Kumasi Sports Stadium yesterday.
In his remarks, Dr. Amoakohene encouraged students to maintain a healthy balance between academic excellence and talent development, particularly in music and the arts.
Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the importance of nurturing potential both in the classroom and beyond. “Our schools must be spaces where potential is nurtured both in the classroom and beyond,” he said.
However, the Regional Minister also addressed an unfortunate clash that resulted in an injury to a student during the event. Dr. Amoakohene warned that any schools involved in such disturbances during inter-school events like Interco or Superzo will face suspension from future participation.
 “Discipline and safety must never be compromised,” he stressed.
Despite the incident, Dr. Amoakohene described the event as successful and beautiful, filled with energy and promise.
 He commended the Ghana Education Service, school authorities, and dedicated teachers for their hard work and commitment to the future of young people.
