Disloyal Dr. Arthur Kennedy Has Changed for the Worse: Razak Kojo Opoku Writes

948

Our serial disloyal member of the Party, Dr. Arthur Kennedy has once again granted interview to the Pro-NDC XYZ TV making parody utterances typical of anti-Akufo-Addo fanatics in NDC.

However, I would like to offer simple explication and exegesis to the unfortunate commentaries made by chronic bitter Dr. Arthur Kennedy as follows:

1. My Party has changed for the Worse

*Response*

If indeed NPP has changed for the worse then the likes of Dr. Arthur Kennedy who is busy practicing his brain drain in America without any contribution to the development of Ghana and NPP as a Party need to be questioned.

Did you expect NPP to remain the same when you are busy consistently painting bad image for the Party?

When you wrote “Chasing the Elephant into the bush” after the 2008 general elections detailing all the weaknesses of NPP to the World were you expecting the image of NPP to remain the same?

“Chasing the Elephant into the Bush” was prominently and predominantly used by the NDC against NPP and Akufo-Addo during the 2012 General elections. The potency and efficacy of the book became useless ahead of the 2016 general elections.

2. Party members are no longer loyal to NPP Values

*Response*

The first person who became disloyal to the values of NPP after the 2008 defeat is Dr. Arthur Kennedy.

Who in his right senses will author a book bastardizing his own Party and its Presidential Candidate consistently and concurrently post -2008 general elections?

After he had only 1 vote and came last during the 2007 Presidential Primaries at Legon, the charitable Nana Akufo-Addo in consultation with the Party made Dr. Arthur Kennedy the Chairperson of the Communications Committee of the Party for the 2008 general elections. What was his contribution to the defeat of NPP in 2008?

Adding insult to injury the loyal member of the Party, wrote Chasing the Elephant into the Bush to further discredit NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo and even former President Kufuor.

3. This is not the same NPP in the Kufuor era

*Response*
We would not follow the solipsism, rambling and incomprehensibility of Dr. Arthur Kennedy to knock the heads of former President Kufuor and President Akufo-Addo together because we are politically wise unlike Dr. Arthur Kennedy.

Former President Kufuor did well for the Party during his days and President Akufo-Addo too is equally doing well to protect the tradition of the Party. None has performed better than each other as far as the management of NPP is concerned.

4. Most leaders and members of NPP have left behind all the Party’s values and are now pursuing their self-interest

*Response*

Leadership by example, wouldn’t be a prudent decision for Dr. Arthur Kennedy to discontinue his brain drain business in America and come down to occupy a Polling Station Executive position in NPP?

Which loyal NPP member will discredit his/her own Government and President using a pro-NDC platform like XYZ TV or Radio?

Dr. Arthur Kennedy now preaching loyalty to the values of NPP, very interesting.
This is like Satan preaching Gospel of Christ to Believers.

5. Ghana’s Development has retard under Akufo-Addo’s Presidency

*Response*

Globally including United States of America where Dr. Arthur Kennedy domiciled, which Country is exempted from escalating price of crude oil, inflation rate, world supply chain difficulties and cost of living largely due to prolonged global crisis caused by COVID-19 and Russia-Ukraine War? Certainly none.

All the major advanced economies in the World are feeling the heat and uncomfortable consequences of COVID-19 and Russia-Ukraine War. Fact is Fact.

Despite the global economic downturn, President Akufo-Addo’s Government has delivered on its promises to the good people of Ghana and as it stands now, none of the flagship policies and programmes of Akufo-Addo’s Government has been suspended.

If not for hatred, how can Dr. Arthur Kennedy conclude that Ghana’s development has been retarded under a Government which has implemented policies that were non-existent in the era of Rawlings, Kufuor, Mills and Mahama’s Government.

Akufo-Addo’s Government has delivered on Free SHS/TVET, Interchanges, sizeless infrastructure projects, Roads, YouStart, Development Bank Ghana, MIIF, GEA, NABCO, Railway Infrastructure, Aviation Infrastructure, 1 Constituency 1 Ambulance, Mobile Money Interoperability, 1D1F, Digitalization, Digitization, Ghana Identity Cards and several other monumental unprecedented achievements in this Country.
