“Disregard Falsehood Peddled Against Me By The NDC”- Bibiani MP Tells Constituents

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng, has asked Ghanaians and his constituents to disregard a press conference held by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to peddle falsehood and other allegations against him.

According to the Member of Parliament, for the past two years in government, the development agenda of government projects in the constituency has been a little bit slower than previous years and therefore called on the the central government to bring out a preferred Municipal Chief Executive for Bibiani- Anhwiaso- Bekwai Municipal Assembly to work with and foster for development and employment for the teeming youth in the constituency.

He was, however, worried that instead of the NDC constituency executives to see the positive direction out of his earlier statement made, they(NDC) are rather chastising and hunting him for no reason.

He has appealed to the public, especially the constituents to disregard the fictitious and malice press conference held by the Bibiani-Anhwiaso- Bekwai National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The lawmaker stressed that before he emerged as the MP for the constituency, he had donated three pick ups to the Ghana Police Service, power plant to the Bibiani Government Hospital.

He added that he again donated vehicles to the party for campaigning for in the Western North Region as well as facilitating many other development projects within the municipality.

Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng refuted allegations peddled against him that he is not in good terms with traditional authorities in the Constituency.

He called on the Concerned Polling Station Executives of the NPP that the over 1000 people who signed a petition to the President to nominate preferred candidate as MCE for the Municipality is neither here nor there and urged them to be calm and work hard for the party to win the 2024 general elections.
