Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, former Afigya Kwabre South Constituency Chairman on the ticket of NPP has advised NPP members in Ejisu not to sleep till LAWYER KWABENA Boateng is elected MP of the area in Tuesday’s by election.
Speaking after a unity walk today at Ejisu, the most affable political Messiah in the region spoke about the need the party should stay united and avoid complacency in order to secure victory for their candidate.
According to him,all members should embark on door to door campaign in order to convey the good message of the NPP to every electorate in the area.
“Tuesday’s by election should be a must win for the party so let’s all rally behind lawyer, campaign vigorously to ensure that he wins with wide margin.
He was of the view that Tuesday’s by election is of importance to NPP as far as parliamentary business is of concern so they should all come on board put resources together and make sure is all win for NPP.
He cautioned them to be mindful about their choice of words which he believes can jeopardize the fortunes of the election.

The sudden demise of the NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu, John Kumah, who was also a Deputy Finance Minister, necessitated the polls, held on Saturday.
At the end of voting, Lawyer Boateng, who is the NPP Second Vice Chairman in Ejisu, secured a staggering 394 votes out of the 1,033 total valid votes cast, to win the polls.
He was followed in the second place by Helena Mensah, who managed 302 votes, followed by Yaa Akyawmaa Aboagye, who also garnered 229 votes to finish in the third position.
Dr. Evans Duah and ex-Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, who were tipped by political pundits to win the polls, had 63 and 35 votes, respectively.
Portia Acheampong Abronye had 6 votes, Aaron Prince Duah and Klinsman Karikari Mensa secured 2 votes each, followed by Abena Pokuaa Amoah-Boaitey who had no vote.
