News coming in indicates that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has allegedly called for the arrest of the Deputy NDC communication officer over his recent comment that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is a “Pork Eater”. This revelation was revealed by Sammy Gyamfi.

The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has strongly criticized what he describes as double standards in the political arena. In a recent statement, Gyamfi accused a political opponent of attempting to tarnish the image of a respected figure by spreading false claims on social media.

Gyamfi alleged that social media platforms were being used to circulate misinformation, branding a notable individual as a “drunkard.” He referred to this as an “evil agenda” that was destined to fail, emphasizing the unjust nature of the attacks.

In contrast, Gyamfi pointed out that when a similar personal attack was directed at his political opponent, branding them as a “Pork Eater,” they reacted by involving law enforcement. He ridiculed this response, likening it to a “cry baby” move, accusing the opponent of seeking police intervention to arrest their accuser.

He criticized the hypocrisy, noting that while the individual can attack others, they are quick to resort to legal action when the tables are turned. “Oh so, you can throw stones at your political opponent but you cannot take pebbles in return. Are you the only person with blood flowing through your veins?” he asked.

Gyamfi concluded by daring the political figure to proceed with the arrest. He also warned that if such actions were taken, he and his supporters would continue to highlight the issue, sarcastically dubbing the individual “Alhaji Pork Eater.”

The remarks have sparked heated discussions within political circles, raising concerns about the use of personal attacks in political discourse
