Dr. Dennis Addo, Chief Executive Officer of Dr Dennis Foundation has donated assorted books to Senior High Schools in Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency in the Ashanti Region aimed at enhancing the educational opportunities for students in the area.
As part of his commitment to making a positive impact in communities, the foundation today donated books to the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Education Office, specifically targeting Junior and Senior High Schools within the municipality.

About Dr. Dennis Addo
Dr. Dennis Addo holds a master’s from Harvard University, where he was a fellow in the prestigious Edward S. Mason Program. His coursework covered various subjects, including macroeconomics, statistics, leadership, entrepreneurship, and policy development. He was awarded the Adrian Cheng Fellowship at the Harvard Social Innovation and Change Initiative during his time at Harvard.
With a focus on global health leadership, Dr. Addo earned a Diploma in Global Health Leadership from the University of California Berkeley and the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics.
Dr. Dennis Addo’s professional journey includes notable positions in various organizations. He is a member of the Global Implementation Team at MIT Safe Paths, contributing to developing privacy-first, open-source solutions. As the Founder and CEO of Wala Digital Health, he provides strategic leadership. He oversees the operations of an integrated digital platform that connects the supply and demand sides of the African blood supply chain. Dr. Addo has also made significant contributions as a Director and Board Member of the National Health Insurance Authority, responsible for managing and implementing the National Health Insurance Scheme in Ghana.
Throughout his career, Dr. Addo has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and a keen ability to innovate in healthcare. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Claron Health International, he has grown the company into a thriving healthcare enterprise, focusing on custom packages that enhance corporate healthcare and promote preventive health. Additionally, he has served in key positions such as Physician and Director of the Malaria & Tuberculosis Control Program at the 37 Military Hospital, Deputy Head of Occupational Health & Policy, and Senior Medical Officer for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. Dr. Addo’s professional accomplishments extend beyond his primary roles. He has been involved in research projects, collaborated with international organizations, and provided technical expertise as a consultant. He has worked with organizations like Rotary International and the World Bank on humanitarian projects and healthcare information management. Dr. Addo’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through his participation in numerous training programs, including those offered by renowned institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard Medical School, and the Royal College of Physicians in the UK.
