A group of National democratic congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has called on president-elect John Dramani Mahama to appoint the member Parliament – elect for Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency, Afrah Hajia Nasira, as a minister.
In statement issued on Monday, the NDC Natural loyalist described such an appointment as a deserving reward for Hon Afrah Hajia Nasira, who fought tirelessly to secure a foothold for NDC in Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency.
“As loyalist, we hope that the current Mahama government will not repeat the mistakes of the previous tenure, where people who secrificed for the party were sidelined and got nothing in return.
