Drop The Old ,Fix The Youth Mantra: Western North NPP Regional Secretary Backs Call

Western North NPP Regional Secretary, Mr.Samuel Kofi Abiaw has backed calls from some national NPP youth activists who are appealing to the president of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo to retire the tired limbs in the NPP and furnish his government with the youth.
He is  however calling for the appointment of more youth to the  leadership positions in president Nana Akufo Addo’s second term of office.
The NPP party in the Western North believes that such a move will again create a platform for young people in the NPP party to be actively involved in his governance system and participate at the highest level of decision making advancing the course of youth development at the same time.
Speaking to the media last Tuesday, the Regional Secretary of the party, Mr Samuel Kofi Abiaw said, consequently, the youth in Western North region who are mostly grassroots members have remained largely at the periphery of the NPP party development structures, with little recognition.
Adding that, The New Patriotic Party grassroots have revealed how hungry and angry they are with their leaders due to their failure to provide jobs for them.
He said the NPP lost 2008 presidential election because the youth in the party withdrew their service during the campaign season because, they claim that they have been neglected for a very long time, and deserve to be rewarded.
According to the regional secretary, several capable and prominent NPP loyalists in the party especially, Western North region had spent their time, money and energy, galvanizing support for the Party, when the NPP party were in opposition.
Mr. Kofi Abiaw request from the Appointing Authority, especially from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to remember the NPP Western North Executives and its grassroots members who immensely served and understand the party philosophy to support his Administration.
